DRM is working to reduce snowbanks on the south side of Hannah Pass and onwards towards the Meziadin Junction on Highway 37. Our crews have been working from Meziadin Junction toward the south side of the pass widening lanes with our snow blower, grader and plow trucks. We have managed to restore fog line to fog line in the majority of this area, however, the bank heights remain high and will be reduced as the snow cats move to this section.
Once the snow cats move to the south side of the pass, DRM crews will move to the north side to complete the final lane widening from shoulder to shoulder.
We expect work to be largely complete by February 1. If you see conditions in the area that cause concern, please inform our operational team by calling 1.800.842.4122.
Please use caution when driving through these areas, to protect your safety as well as the safety of our crews.
